The Centre has been officially reported to the Ministry of Higher Education of DRC as the jointly managed between Lisala University and DPHU.

This center has legally been set up according to the decision No UNILIS/RECT/004/AC/2021-2022 du 15 Fevrier 2022 creating an international center for multidisciplinary research in the English and French-speaking world within the University of Lisala.
